PLAGIARISM SCREENING

CONFLUENCE: Journal of Business, Economics & Governance is committed to academic integrity and originality. All submitted manuscripts undergo a similarity check as part of the editorial screening process.

  1. Screening Stage
The similarity check is conducted during the initial screening before the manuscript proceeds to peer review.

  2. Criteria and Actions
If the similarity report indicates excessive overlap or potential plagiarism, the editor may:

    • return the manuscript for citation/paraphrasing improvements, or

    • reject the manuscript in cases of substantial plagiarism.

  3. Important Note
Similarity originating from properly cited quotations, references, standard methodology descriptions, or common terms will be assessed contextually by the editor. Authors must ensure that all citations, paraphrases, tables, and figures are properly acknowledged.
