Author Guidelines

1) Facus and Scope

CONFLUENCE welcomes scholarly articles in Business, Economics, and Governance, including quantitative, qualitative, and mixed-methods studies.

2) Language

Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English.
For Indonesian manuscripts, foreign terms should be italicized.

3) General Formatting

  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt
  • Line spacing: 1.5
  • Title length: max 20 words
  • Authors’ names: no academic titles; capitalize initial letters.
  • Provide affiliation and author email.

4) Manuscript Structure

Please follow the template structure:

  1. Title
  2. Authors, affiliations, email
  3. Abstract (English) + Keywords
  4. Abstrak (Indonesian) + Kata Kunci
  5. Introduction
  6. Literature Review (as needed)
  7. Method
  8. Results and Discussion (recommended as separate sub-sections)
  9. Conclusion (including limitations and recommendations)
  10. References (APA 7th edition)

5) Abstract and Keywords

  • Maximum 250 words.
  • Must include: purpose, method, key findings, conclusion/implications.
  • Do not include citations, tables, or figures in the abstract.
  • Provide 3–5 keywords, separated by commas.

6) Section Guidance (brief)

  • Introduction: background, state of the art, gap, novelty, objectives; suggested proportion ~15–20% of the manuscript length.
  • Literature Review: thematic/analytical; quantitative includes conceptual framework & hypotheses; qualitative includes research questions.
  • Method: explain design, data/informants/sample, data collection, analysis, and trustworthiness/validity (for qualitative).
  • Results & Discussion: report results clearly; discuss by interpreting findings, linking with theory/prior studies, and highlighting contributions.
  • Conclusion: concise, no new data; include limitations and recommendations.

7) Tables, Figures, and Sources

  • Number all tables/figures and provide captions.
  • Table captions appear above the table; figure captions appear below the figure; captions in bold.
  • Every table/figure must include a source.

8) Citations and References

Use APA Style (7th edition) consistently for in-text citations and reference lists.
