Plagiarism Policy

All manuscripts submitted to Marsidiapari: Journal of Community Service are subject to a similarity check using plagiarism detection software.

  • The maximum acceptable similarity index is 25%.
  • Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 25% will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected by the editor.
  • Even if the similarity index is below 25%, a manuscript may still be rejected if:
    • plagiarism is found in substantial or critical parts of the text,
    • there is a high similarity from a single source, or
    • there are indications of self-plagiarism (re-publication of the author’s own work without proper citation or disclosure).
  • Authors are fully responsible for ensuring that all quotations, paraphrases, data, figures, and ideas taken from other sources are properly cited in accordance with academic standards.
