Focus and Scope

The focus of Marsidiapari: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is on the outcomes of community service and community empowerment activities that are carried out in a planned and measurable manner, and are oriented toward solving real problems in various social settings, both rural and urban.

This journal emphasizes:

  • the application of science, technology, arts, and local wisdom;
  • the enhancement of community capacity and self-reliance;
  • the strengthening of institutions and governance at the community level; and
  • social, economic, educational, health, and environmental impacts that can be measured and reflected upon scientifically.

The scope of Marsidiapari: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat includes, but is not limited to, the following themes:

  1. Community Education and Literacy
    • Training and mentoring for teachers, students, parents, and learning communities
    • Reading literacy, digital literacy, financial literacy, legal literacy, and other forms of literacy
    • Development of learning media and methods for use in community settings
  2. Health and Social Welfare
    • Health, nutrition, and mental health education and promotion
    • Community-based disease prevention programs
    • Assistance for vulnerable groups (older persons, children, persons with disabilities, and other marginalized groups)
  3. Economic Empowerment and Entrepreneurship
    • Development of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), cooperatives, and the creative economy
    • Training in business management, marketing, and finance
    • Community- and household-based entrepreneurship mentoring
  4. Appropriate Technology and Digital Innovation
    • Application of appropriate technology for community needs
    • Strengthening digital skills (e-commerce, social media, basic information systems)
    • Innovation in applications or devices that support social and economic activities in the community
  5. Environment, Agriculture, and Food Security
    • Environmental conservation programs and waste management
